Privacy Policy
This page explains what information this website collects, why, and what happens to it.
Who this covers
This policy applies to nikicconstruction.com, operated by Nikic Construction LLC. It does not cover third-party sites this site links to.
What we collect
When you use the contact form. Name, email address, phone number, and whatever project details you choose to share — the lot address, the type of build, timing, and anything else you write in. We only ask for what’s needed to respond to you.
Automatically, from anyone who visits. Standard technical information collected by any website: IP address, browser type, device type, and which pages were viewed. This is server-log-level data used for security and basic site performance, not for tracking individuals.
Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, what device and browser they’re using, and roughly what region they’re visiting from (derived from IP address, not precise location). Google Analytics does not tell us your name or contact information unless you separately give it to us through the contact form. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using Google’s own browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
This site does not have user accounts, does not process payments, and does not have blog comments enabled, so none of the data those features would normally involve is collected.
Why we collect it
Contact form information is used to respond to your inquiry, and for that alone — it is not used for marketing lists, sold, or shared with anyone outside of what’s described below.
Analytics information is used in aggregate, to understand which pages and content are useful to visitors and to improve the site over time. It is not used to identify or contact you individually.
Who processes it on our behalf
A small number of service providers handle this site’s technical operation. None of them are permitted to use your information for their own purposes, except as described for Google Analytics below.
- WPForms — powers the contact form itself.
- WP Mail SMTP — delivers your form submission to Nikic Construction’s email inbox.
- Ample Consulting, LLC — hosts and manages this website, running on Hostinger’s underlying infrastructure.
- Google Tag Manager — loads and manages the analytics and measurement tags used on this site. Google’s privacy policy governs how it handles the data involved.
- Google Analytics — collects the aggregate usage data described above. Google’s own privacy policy governs how it handles that data on its end; it’s available at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Google reCAPTCHA — protects the contact form from automated submissions. Google’s privacy policy and terms apply to its use.
- Cloudflare — provides security and content delivery for this site, which involves processing basic request data such as IP address.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Cookies
This site uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, which sets first-party cookies to distinguish one visitor’s session from another and to recognize repeat visits. These cookies collect the same kind of aggregate usage data described above — they do not identify you by name.
This site does not use advertising or retargeting cookies. A small number of purely functional cookies may also be set by the site’s caching system and by reCAPTCHA to serve pages faster and to distinguish humans from bots — these don’t identify you personally either.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser’s settings at any time. Doing so may affect how analytics data is recorded, but won’t affect your ability to use the site or submit the contact form.
Your rights and how to reach us
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. To do any of this, contact us directly through the contact page or by phone.
Florida’s main consumer privacy law, the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, applies only to companies with more than $1 billion in annual global revenue — it does not apply to Nikic Construction. The rights above are offered as standard practice, not because a specific statute requires them of a business this size.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, consistent with Florida’s data security law (the Florida Information Protection Act), which applies to all Florida businesses regardless of size. No method of storing or transmitting data online is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for adults researching construction, renovation, and development services. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If what this site collects or how it’s used changes, this page will be updated to reflect that, with the date below revised accordingly.
